Sewing Centers Program

our story

Empowering Women, One Outfit at a time.

SMI is working to liberate young women in different areas of Pakistan and has successfully opened four sewing centers. Trained female teachers instruct the girls to knit and sew. The women are being taught how to sew women's clothing, such as the shalwar-kameez, which they then sell in the local communities. They keep 100% of the money. Because of these opportunities, girls and young women do not have to go to work at brick kilns or clean the distant houses of other people, as those are not safe jobs for young women.

Rejoice Apparel

Mission Driven Apparel Manufacturers

Our Journey to Women safety & Empowerment

Savior’s Mission International (SMI) has been transforming lives in rural villages of Punjab through our successful sewing centers. We identified a pressing need for industrial stitching services, leading us to establish Rejoice Apparel, a clothing factory manufacturing high-quality garments for existing brands and an opportunity for young entrepreneurs to start their own brand. This milestone marks a significant step towards amplifying our impact.

Rejoice Apparel and SMI share one purpose: empowering women who were previously marginalized in brick factories or domestic work. Our training programs and job opportunities equip them with skills, dignity and economic independence. With every sale, Rejoice Apparel contributes a portion of its profits to support SMI's initiatives and projects, creating a sustainable cycle of growth and social impact.

Together, we're breaking cycles of poverty and empowering women to thrive.
